  Guy G. Klinger, 85, formerly of Womelsdorf, passed away peacefully in the evening hours of Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2012, of natural causes in the Sanatoga Center, Pottstown, where he was a resident since 2009.
  He was the husband of the late Kathleen I. (Illig) Klinger, who died June 17, 2006.
  Born May 6, 1927, in Auburn, Schuylkill Co., PA, he was the son of the late Paul and Annie (Reinhart) Klinger.
  He was a graduate of Auburn High School.
  He was a veteran of WWII having served in the U.S. Army.
  Guy was a barber, Realtor, builder, investor, and local businessman in Womelsdorf for many years until his retirement.
  Both Guy and his late wife were members of Zion Lutheran Church, Womelsdorf, where he had served on Council. He was a lifetime member of the Womelsdorf Rod & Gun Club and had been a member of the Womelsdorf Fire Co., and the Womelsdorf VFW. He also served on Womelsdorf Borough Council.
  He is survived by his two children, his siblings, a sister-in-law, and Six grandchildren.
  He was predeceased by a brother, Eugene Klinger.
  Burial will follow in Womelsdorf Union Cemetery.

  Mildred liked to cook and enjoyed having her family over on Sunday afternoons. She also enjoyed her grandchildren coming over in the summer and she liked to crochet.
  She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira G. Klinger, June 3, 1983; daughter, Evelyn Bashore; great-granddaughter, Shelly Emerich; two sisters, Helen Ream and Mary Martin; and brother, Edward Christ.
  Surviving are four grandchildren, Audrey Brown, Bethel, Charlene Muckle, Lebanon, Edward "Butch" Bashore and wife, Donna, Mount Aetna, and Wenda Dinatle, Lebanon; six great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
  Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at H.L. Snyder Funeral Home Inc., Pine Grove, with Pastor Ernest Diefenderfer officiating. There will be a viewing from 10 a.m. Monday until the time of services at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Suedberg Church of God Cemetery, Pine Grove. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions in her memory be made to the Compassionate Care Hospice, 100 E. Brown St., Suite 23, Middletown, PA 17057.

She was a member of St. Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lebanon, and Eastern Star #115 and White Shrine. Betty is survived by her daughters, Diane, wife of James Thornton of Pine Grove, and Kandice, wife of David Gassert of Pine Grove; son, David Phillippy and wife, Debra; 11 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Phillippy; sisters, Nancy Klinger and Joan Hall; and brother, James Klinger. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2014, at 11 a.m. in St. Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 534 E. Lehman St., Lebanon, with the Rev. Robert Hoffman officiating. An Eastern Star Service will begin at 9:45 a.m. and a visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be made in Outwood Lutheran Cemetery, Pine Grove. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the St. Matthew's Church Building Fund.
