    Lee Deppen, 78, Of Dalmatia RD, County Native
    Lee W. Deppen, 78, of Dalmatia RD died at his home on Friday. He had been ill for the past three weeks, and was re. cently discharged from the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. He was a life resident of the Dalmatia RD area.
    Mr. Deppen was born on Oct. 1890, a son of the late John W. and Lilly Fetterolf Deppen in Dalmatia RD. He was em(ployed as a thresher, superintendent of the Stone Valley Cemetery, and of a the farmer. He was a member of the Stone Valley United Church of Christ, American Legion Post 504, Herndon; Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1586, Valley View; and the Hickory Corners Fire Company.
    He survived by his widow, the former Rebecca E. Duttry and five sons, Dean A. of Williamsport; Mryle L., of Selinsgrove RD; Kenneth L., of Camp Hill; Delbert L. of South Plainfield. N.J; Ronald T., of Dalmatia Star Route. One son, Robert L., preceded him in death.
    Other survivors include five sisters. Mrs. Harvey Witmer and Mrs. William Phillips, Dalmatia RD; Mrs. Daniel Jury, Millersburg; Mrs. Clarence Seechrist, Dalmatia, and Miss Mabel Deppen, Harrisburg; and six brothers, Raymond and Mark, of Dalmatia RD; Forrest, Berrysburg; George, Dornsife RD; Paul, Philadelphia; Ernlest, Dalmatia. He is also survived by ten grandchildren.
    Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 at be Stone Valley United Church of Christ. Rev. Arthur Roberts, pastor, will officiate. American Legion Post 504, Herndon, will serve as pallbearers.
    Friends will be received at the Stone Valley Church on Sunday evening from 9 o'clock. The family will provide flowers and contributions may be made to the Stone Valley United Church of Christ.
    Funeral arrangements are being conducted by the Rothermel Funeral Home, Herndon.

    DALMATIA - Rebecca E. Deppen, 94, of Susquehanna Lutheran Village, Millersburg, formerly of Hickory Corners, Dalmatia RD 1, died Wednesday in the village.
    She was a member of Stone Valley United Church of Christ.
    She was the widow of Lee W. Deppen. Surviving are five sons, Dean A. of Cogan Station, Myrle L. of Sunbury, Kenneth L. of Camp Hill, Delbert L. of Thompsontown and Ronald T. of Dalmatia RD 1; three brothers, Edwin, Paul and Raymond Duttry, all of Dalmatia; two sisters, Maude Kinsinger of Halifax and Frances Miller of Millersburg; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
    Services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in Reed Funeral Home, Pillow. Burial will be in Stone Valley Cemetery, Dalmatia RD 1.
    Viewing will be from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home.
    Memorial contributions may be made to her church, RD 1, Dalmatia 17017.
