    H. Katherine "Kitty" Kehler, 69, of RRl Klingerstown, died Wednesday morning at Ashland Regional Medical Center after becoming ill.
    Born in Philadelphia, June 21, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Henry Walter Maurer and Lottie M. Stiely Maurer. She was a graduate of Hubley Township High School.
    She had been employed at the former Spread Eagle Farms, Klingerstown.
    She was a member of Salem United Church of Christ Church, RRl Klingerstown, where she was a former organist, choir member and a former pianist for the Salemaires.
    Her husband, Wesley T., died in 1988.
    Surviving are two sons, Stuart E., Port Royal, and Darrell W., RR1 Klingerstown; three daughters, Darice A. Wehry and Audrey C. Kehler, both of RR1 Klingerstown, and Laurie J. Kehler, RR1 Pitman; nine grandchildren; a great-granddaughter.
    Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Salem UCC. The Rev. Mark Rothermel will officiate. Interment will be in Salem Cemetery, RR1 Klingerstown. Stephen R. Rothermel Funeral Home, RR1 Klingerstown, is in charge of arrangements.

    Knorr rites
    Services for Orpha O. Knorr, 82, of RR1 Klingerstown, who died Tuesday evening at home, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday from Stephen R. Rothermel Funeral Home, RR1 Klingerstown. The Revs. Joel Petruschke and Mark Rothermel will officiate. Interment will be in Zion Cemetery, Erdman. She had been in ill health for four years.
    Born in Leck Kill, Aug. 15, 1917, she was a daughter of the late Morris E. and Edna B. Mauser Ressler. She was educated in Upper Mahanoy Township, Northumberland County, schools.
    She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Erdman, and Mahantongo Valley Senior Citizens of Pitman.
    Her husband, Melvin R., died Dec. 5, 1973, and a daughter, Joan Marie Knorr, died March 27, 1947.
    Surviving are five daughters, Gloria C. Phillips, Halifax, Romaine D. Deitrich and Shirley M. Kline, both of RR1 Klingerstown, Judith A. Knorr, Philadelphia, and Sandra L. Shaver, North Wales; two sisters, Cloma Duttry, Mechanicsburg, and Geraldine Wiest, Halifax; four brothers, Stervin Ressler, Baltimore, Md., Lamar Ressler, Halifax, Delmar Ressler, RR1 Herndon, and Glenn Ressler, Mechanicsburg; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
