    Margaret A. Nusbaum, age 94, of Wakarusa, died at 2:25 pm, Friday, June 27, 2014 at Miller's Merry Manor, Wakarusa. She was born December 26, 1919 in Wakarusa to Arthur and Mable (Holmes) Schwalm. She married Russell Nusbaum in 1938 in Wakarusa and he preceded her in death in 1995.
    Mrs. Nusbaum was a lifetime resident of Wakarusa. She was a member of Baugo Church of the Brethren. She was a homemaker and had worked at Ray's Ice Cream in Elkhart for many years.
    Surviving are her sons, Lamar (Sharlen) Nusbaum, Dean (Helen) Nusbaum, Wayne (Diane) Nusbaum, all of Wakarusa; 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sisters,Esther Husband, Lois (Lee) Hartman, both of Wakarusa; and a brother, Dale (Lorna) Schwalm, Wakarusa. She was preceded in death by twin daughters, Jean Ellen and Jane Ann Nusbaum; sisters, Beulah Howe, Marie Hartman; and a brother, Fremont Schwalm.
