    Thomas Q. Bordner, 73, RR1 Herndon
    HERNDON -- Thomas Q. Bordner, 73, of RRI Herndon died Tuesday afternoon, March 5, 2002, at his home. He had been in ill health since 1997.
    He was born Dec. 13, 1928, in Jordon Township, a son of Ddrsey and Maude (Lubold) Bordner. On Aug. 3, 1968, in Shamokin, he married the former Karen Ebright, who survives.
    Mr. Bordner had been a resident of the RR Herndon area all his life.
    He was educated in Urban schools.
    Mr, Bordner was a sewing machine repairman and last worked ' ; at the Shamokin Shoe Factory, retiring in 1980.
    He served with the Army during the Korean War.
    Mr. Bordner was Protestant.
    Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two sons, Thomas Bordner of RR Sunbury and Jeffrey Bordner of RR1 Herndon; three daughters and sons-in-law, Sheila and Louis Deiter of RR Dalmatia, Karen and Randy Taby of Shamokin and Deborah and Ray Miller of Shamokin; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three brothers, William Bordner of Stroudsburg, Harry Bordner of Cambletown and Boyd Bordner of Hickory Corners; and two sisters, Myrtle Scheib of the Lutheran Village, Millersburg, and Esther Shafner of Dalmatia.
    He was preceded in death by four sisters, Edna Dobson, Gertrude Ross, Carrie Latsha and Elsie Duttry, and four brothers, John, Roy, Paul and Albert.
    Visitors may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the Robert G. Foust Jr. Funeral Home, 841 W, Shamokin St. , Trevorton. The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home by the Rev. George P. Heberling.
    Burial will be in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington.
