Woman Dies Month From 100th Year
Mrs. Sallie A. Ginter, 99. of 112 Orchard St., Nanticoke, died Sunday morning in Nanticoke State General Hospital.
Born Nov. 16. 1876, in Klingerstown, she was a stepdaughter of Rev. John Glantz, first pastor of Zion Reformed Church, Nanticoke, now Zion United Church of Christ.
Mrs. Ginter resided in Nanticoke since 1899 and was organist for Zion United Church of Christ over 40 years. Her husband, William, died in 1939.
Surviving are sons, Dr. Lewis Ginter, Beach Haven, N.J; Earle, Lake Silkworth; Charles, Coatesville; Willard, at home; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be Tuesday at 11 from Earl W. Lohman Funeral Home. 84 Prospect St., Nanticoke, with Rev. Donald Dutton, pastor, Zion United Church of Christ, officiating. Interment in Hunover Green Cemetery. Friends may call Monday 7 to 9 p.m.
