    Roy Lenker, age 25 years, was fatally injured when the automobile in which he was riding, skidded and overturned on the State Highway east of town, Saturday afternoon. His two companions, Warren Weida and Frederick Zeigler Jr. both of this place, escaped serious injury.
    The young men, it was stated, were traveling towards Lykens. Just east of the Raker farm, the car skidded on the snow-covered highway, and overturned after running onto a bank.
    Lenker, who had been pinned be. neath the car, was removed to the office of Dr. R. E. Barto, this place, where he died. He had sustained fractured skull and other injuries.
    He was a son of George and Clara Lenker and was a native of Elizabethville, born July 31, 1911.
    Survivors are his wife, formerly Miss Dorothy Duenger of this place, two daughters, Elenore and Arlene; his parents, four brothers, and one sister, Walter Lenker and Miss Hester Lenker, both at home; Harry Lenker, of Dauphin; Marlin Lenker, Orwigsburg and Russel Lenker of Pottsville.
    Funeral services were held from the Buffington funeral home at 2:00 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. Rev. J. M. Walters, pastor of Trinity United Brethren Church, town, officiated and interment was made in Maple Grove cemetery.3
