    A son of the late Emanuel and Christiana Shadle Klinger, he was born at R. D., Lykens, December 3, 1888.
    He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Carrie Bowman Klinger; a daughter, Mrs. Owen Troutman, Pillow; two brothers, Alvin, Spring Glen; and Fred, Tremont; a sister, Mrs. Edwin Knorr, Lykens R. D; three grandchildren and six
    great grandchildren.
    One son, Kermit Klinger, preceded him in death four years ago.
    Services were held Saturday in the church with the Rev. Mr. Robert H. Logan, his pastor, officiating. Burial was in Gratz Union Cemetery.9

Services will be held Thursday at 11:30 a.m. in Klingers Lutheran Church.1

    Mr. Klinger was born in Lykens Township February 23,1892 a son of the late Emanuel and Christina Shadel Klinger. He was a retired factory worker and was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, RD, Lykens.
    He was married January 6, 1912 to the former LillianTroutman.
    Surviving are his widow, of Millersburg; five children, Eva, wife of Emory Snyder, RD, Elizabethville; Esther, wife of Riland Scheidler, Millersburg; Orpha, wife of George White, York; Marlin, Gratz; Herman, RD, Spring Glen; 14 grandchildren; 32 great­grandchildren.
    Services were held Saturday, July 8 from the Zion Lutheran Church, RD, Lykens. Interment was in Zion Cemetery. The Rev. Robert Eastlack, Klingerstown, officiated.
    The Lawrence E. Rothermel Funeral Home, RD, Klingerstown, was in charge of arrangements.4

    Funeral services were held Wednesday morning in Zion (Klinger's) Lutheran Church, Erdman, for Mrs. Meta M. Knorr, 74, wife of Edwin W. Knorr of Lykens RD The Rev. Robert Eastlack, pastor of Klinger's Church, officiated and interment was in Klinger's Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of the A. R. Buffington Funeral Home, Valley View.
    Mrs. Knorr died Friday evening in Sunbury Community Hospital. She was born in Lykens Township, the daughter of the late Emanuel and Christina Shadle Klinger. She was a member of Zion (klinger's) Lutheran Church.
    Surviving in addition to her husband, are four sons, Bryant Klinger and Dean Knorr, Lykens RD; Ray Knorr, Hegins RD; Wallace Knorr, Klingerstown RD; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Alvin Klinger of Elizabethville; Fred Klinger of Tremont. A daughter, Elsie, died in 1957.
