     Agnes C. McAuliffe was born on 7 November 1927, Williamstown, Dauphin County, PA.¹ She was the daughter of Edward McAuliffe and Helen Lentz.² Agnes C. McAuliffe married James E. Moss, son of James C. Moss and Hester Mae Klinger, on 31 July 1945, Williamstown, Dauphin County, PA.^1,3 Agnes C. McAuliffe died on 13 May 2023, Tower City, Schuylkill County, PA, at age 95.¹

Agnes C. McAuliffe Moss, 95, of Williamstown passed away Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Heritage Mills Personal Care Center, Tower City.
Born in Williamstown, November 7, 1927, a daughter of the late Edward and Helen Lentz McAuliffe. Aggie was a graduate of the former Williamstown Catholic High School.
She retired after working over forty years as an administrative assistant with the Pennsylvania Air National Guard at Ft Indiantown Gap.
Aggie was a devout Catholic. She was a lifelong member of the former Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Williamstown, and a member of the Parish Council of Catholic Women. She was also a social member of the Williamstown American Legion.
Aggie was an avid fan of Notre Dame and Penn State Football and was a season ticket holder for many years at Penn State.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Moss, 1982; sisters, Mary Fetterhoff and Patricia Updegrove; brothers, Bernard, Francis, Joseph, and Edward McAuliffe.
Surviving are her son, James D. Moss and his wife Peggy, Vero Beach, FL; two grandchildren, James M. Moss and his wife Michelle, Burlington, NC, and Janet L. Manigold and her husband Dale, Sicklerville, NJ; great grandchildren, Hadyn and Katherine Moss, and Jonathan, Michael, Matthew, and Jessica Manigold; one brother, James McAuliffe, Ocean City, NJ; numerous nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at 11:00 AM from Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Chapel, Tower City with Rev. Paul Rothermel as celebrant. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Williamstown.
