     Agatha Buro was born on 24 October 1881, Italy.^1,3 Agatha's maiden name is not clear from her death certificate. It may be "Buro" or "Bruo." Other sources list her name variously as "Ruotoli" or "Ruttolo."^2,4,5 She married Anthonio Ciervo circa 1906.^5,6 Agatha Buro immigrated in 1909 to Reading, Berks County, PA, along with her two oldest children.^1,7 She died on 28 March 1921, Reading Hospital, Reading, Berks County, PA, at age 39. Her death certificate lists her name as "Gata Ciervo."^1,2

Mrs. Agatha Ciervo, 40 years of age, widow of Frank Ciervo, 114 South 2nd street, died Monday afternoon at 4 o'clock in the Reading hospital, where she had been admitted several days ago. She was a victim of pneumonia.
Deceased was born in the village of S. Agatha, near Naples, and came to Reading about 12 years ago, and since that time has been a resident of Reading. She was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic church.
Besides her husband, 10 children survive, Charles, James, Frank, Patsy, Rosy, Katnerine, Annie, Mary, Josephine and an infant sort, John, all of whom live in Reading. There is also a sister Marion Rienzo, living in this city, and a number of other brother and sisters living in Italy.
