In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth L. Russell Cook, in 2006; brothers, Ronald, Ceril, Fenton and Paul; a grandson, Bernard Culley.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of James M. Cook, Pottsville and the late Linda Culley Cook, who died in 1999. She attended Pottsville schools.
She is survived by two siblings, Brandy Cole, Port Carbon, and James Culley, Pottsville; her stepmother, Crystal Cook, Pottsville; a niece, Katie Gradwell; two nephews, James and Jessie Culley.
Calling hours will be at Dutcavich Funeral Home, 200 Sunbury Street, Minersville, on Saturday from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M.4

Born in Pottsville, Oct. 19, 1943, he was a son of the late Russell and Ella S. Strohecker Cook.
Jim worked for Pottsville Steam Heat and then for Hahner's Brothers Roofing, Pottsville, until retiring.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers, William, Ronald, Robert, Cyril, Fenton and Paul Cook.
Jim is survived by his wife of 47 years, Carol A. Smith Cook, Pottsville; a son, Jeff J. Cook, Pottsville; a daughter, Tammy L. Spotts and her husband, Richard, Danville; his three grandchildren, who he loved more than anything in the world, Dylan M. and Miranda N. Spotts and Jersey-Lynn M. Cook; a brother, Russell Cook, Pottsville; nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was born January 17, 1956 in Pottsville a son of the late Russell and Ella Strohecker Cook.
Tinker was a jack of all trade and had numerous job's throughout his life.
He was preceded in death by 7 brothers, William, Ronald, Paul, Fenton, Cyril, James and Robert.
Surviving are his companion of 47 years Karen Hoy; his children, Shaun Hoy, and his wife Tanya; Kimberly Cook and her companion Shawn Hautz; Russel T. Cook, Jr and his companion Dana Aliberto; grandchildren. Nicholas Hoy, Rachael Hoy, Zachary Smith, Bradyn Smith, Taylor Cook, Ryleigh Cook, Payton Cook, Cole Cook, Kaleb Aliberto; great-grandchildren, Liam Smith, Elizabeth Hoy, Brynlee Smith; nieces and nephews.
Service will be held at the convenience of the family at James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Union Cemetery, Schuylkill Haven.2
