She was born in Schuylkill Haven, March 2, 1913, a daughter of the late John A. and Emmalina Schuveers Strohecker.
She resided in Pottsville most of her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell, and three sons, William, Ronald, and Paul.
Surviving are five sons, Robert, Fenton, Cyril, James and Russell, all of Pottsville; 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Elizabeth Miller, Temple.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday from James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville. The Rev. Philip S. Bendle III, Trinity Lutheran Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Schuylkill Haven.

He was a heavy equipment operator for Reading Anthracite Co., Pottsville, before becoming disabled in March.

Robert Cook, 75, of Pottsville, passed away Tuesday morning at Schuylkill Medical Center-South Jackson Street.
Born in Saint Clair, Aug. 9, 1935, he was a son of the late Russell and Ella Stahecker Cook.
Robert attended the Church of the Salvation Army.
He worked as a shoemaker at Walk-In Shoe Co., Schuylkill Haven, for 17 years and retired in 1979.
Robert especially enjoyed spending time with his family which was his pride and joy He referred to his great-grandchildren as his "babies."
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth L. Russell Cook, in 2006; brothers, Ronald, Ceril, Fenton and Paul; a grandson, Bernard Culley.
Surviving are a daughter, Susan M., wife of Mark DeliaMonica, Pottsville; sons, Robert D. Cook, Saint Clair, and James Cook, husband of Crystal, Pottsville; grandchildren, Jennifer Moody, Melissa Thomas, Robert Cook Jr., Brandy Cole, James Culley, Keri Cook, Mark DeliaMonica Jr. and Jacqueline DellaMonica; 13 great-grandchildren; brothers, James and Russell Cook, both of Pottsville.

Jim worked for Pottsville Steam Heat and then for Hahner's Brothers Roofing, Pottsville, until retiring.

Tinker was a jack of all trade and had numerous job's throughout his life.
He was preceded in death by 7 brothers, William, Ronald, Paul, Fenton, Cyril, James and Robert.
Surviving are his companion of 47 years Karen Hoy; his children, Shaun Hoy, and his wife Tanya; Kimberly Cook and her companion Shawn Hautz; Russel T. Cook, Jr and his companion Dana Aliberto; grandchildren.
