Services for Mrs. Alva Alberta Koppenhaver, 83, of 718 W. Main St., Valley View, who died Wednesday at Hershey Medical Center, will be held Saturday morning from Church of God, Valley View. The Rey. Donald Chickoff will officiate, with interment in St. Paul's Cemetery, Sacramento. Arthur R. Buffington Funeral Home, Valley View, has charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Koppenhaver was previously a guest at Twin Oaks Nursing Home, Campbell town.
She was born in Hegins, Feb. 7, 1897, daughter of the late Willoughby and Mary Lentz Sausser.
She was a member of Church of God, Valley View, where she taught Sunday school, Fire Company auxiliary, American Legion auxiliary and senior citizens, all of Valley View.
Her husband, Wesley Koppenhaver, died in 1977, and a daughter, Mrs. Mary Erdman, in 1978.
Surviving are one son, Dean, Elizabethtown; one daughter, Ruth, wife of Fred Zubrictie, Harrisburg; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Howard Sausser, Connecticut.
