POTTSVILLE - Charles E Hoffman, 85, died Sunday at the Pottsville Hospital where he had been a patient for the past four weeks. He was a former resident of the Klingerstown area.
He was born June 28, 1885 at Rebuck, the son of the late Jacob and Sarah Drumheller Hoffman. He worked as sawyer and as a farmer.
He is survived by five daughters including Mrs. Helen Osman of Mowry, Mrs. Hilda Paul and Mrs. Florence Campbell of Tower City and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. from the Rothermel Funeral Home, Herndon, with the Rev. T. M Arner officiating. Interment will be in the Herndon Cemetery. Friends will be received tonight at the funeral home.
