     Jennie I. Lucas was born on 17 February 1914, Barry Township, Schuylkill County, PA.2,1 She married James E. Savidge on 18 September 1937.1 Jennie I. Lucas died on 22 July 1991, Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon, Lebanon County, PA, at age 77.2,1

Jennie I. Savidge, 77, of Spring Glen, died Monday at Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon.
Born in Barry Township, Feb. 17, 1914, she was a daughter of the late Victor and Clara Lucas Lucas.
She was a member St. Mark's United Methodist Church, Spring Glen, and Tri-Valley Senior Citizens.
Her husband, James, died in 1976, and a daughter, Elsie Shultz, died in 1972.
Surviving are two daughters, Velma Artz, Lebanon, and Darlene Tyler, Carlisle; three brothers, Wilmer Lucas, Dauphin, Leo Lucas, Lykens, and Stanley Lucas, Spring Glen: four sisters, Alverda Lohr, Douglasville, Elsie Lohr, Florida, Esther Stadnic, Schuylkill Haven, and Florence Sabbattis, East Lake, Ohio: five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday from St. Mark's United Methodist Church, Spring Glen. The Rev. James Hiester, Sacramento, will officiate. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. There will be no viewing Wednesday evening. Buffington Funeral Home, Valley View, is in charge of arrangements.
