James E. Savidge, 74. Spring Glen. died Sunday evening in the Lebanon VA Hospital.
He was a native Hegins Twp., Schuylkill County, a son of the late Samuel Mary Boyer Savidge. He was a retired miner and a member of the United Methodist Church and Redmen's Lodge of Spring Glen.
Surviving are his widow, the former Jennie Shadle; two daughters, Darlene. wife of John Tyler, Carlisle, and Velma, wife of Charles Artz, Lebanon: five grandchildren; a sister, Maude Smith, Hegins RD 1; five brothers, George and Daniel, Hockessin, Del; Frank and Harry, Spring Glen, and William, Millersburg RD 1.
