Elvin C "Bud" Blyler, age 79, of Spring Glen, passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at Penn State Milton S Hershey Medical Center, Hershey.
He was born on Wednesday, January 14, 1942, in Valley View, a son of the late Elmer C Blyler and the late Alberta M (Ochs) Blyler.
He was a 1960 graduate of Upper Dauphin Area High School.
Bud was co-owner of Blyler Fruit Farm, Spring Glen.
He was a member of the Valley View Church of God.
Bud's life revolved around farming and his family.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy E (Klinger) Blyler, to whom he was married for 59 years.
He is also survived by a son, Daniel E Blyler and his wife Carol of Lykens; three daughters, Ann M Blyler of Gratz, Carole A Schlegel and her husband Lee of Valley View, and Kay M Reiner and her husband Michael of Klingerstown; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a sister, Eleanor M Wolfe of Valley View; a brother, John E Blyler of Spring Glen; and several nieces and nephews.
A public viewing will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday at the Valley View Church of God. The family requests that masks be worn to attend the viewing.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Private burial will be in the Valley View Church of God Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Valley View Church of God, 900 W Main St, Valley View PA 17983.

DALMATIA- Todd A. Kissinger, age 58, of South Malta Road, Passed away November 9, 2023, at his residence, lovingly surrounded by his wife and children.
He was born in Harrisburg, PA , June 6, 1965, the son of the [Late] LeRoy Kissinger and Carol (Leitzel) Kissinger who survives him in Loyalton.
He had worked 32 years for Teradata as a project manager.
Todd was also the owner operator of Kissy's Septic Cleaning for over 40 years.
His love of softball and baseball led him to become a coach for 20 years with many local teams. Todd enjoyed going to the shore on family vacations and planning the never ending updates around the family compound.
Survived by his wife of 31 years, Shapell (Leitzel) Kissinger, 3 children, daughter, Cyan J. Kissinger, Dalmatia, son, Canan K.C. Kissinger and his companion (Maycee Henninger), Dalmatia, and Chaise T. Kissinger, Dalmatia. 3 brothers LeRoy Kissinger, Rogers, Arkansas, Ernest (Lori) Kissinger, Berrysburg and Scot (Scott Bretz) Kissinger, Millersburg, Sisters, Wanda (Dennis) Sorensen, Klingerstown and Pamela (Randy) Arnold, Millersburg;
Preceded in death by nieces Amanda Arnold and Trisha Kissinger.
There will be a visitation held at Hoover-Boyer Funeral Homes Ltd, Millersburg on Saturday, December 9, 2023 from 9-11 AM. Memorial services will start at 11 AM with Rev. William Romberger officiating.
