Jay A. Brosius, 82, of Gratz, died Tuesday at his home. His wife, the former Anna Hoover, died last year.
He was a son of the late William and Mary Schoffstall Brosius and was a member of Simeon's United Lutheran Church, Gratz.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Thomas Hartman, Gratz; Mrs. Lester Maurer, Klingerstown; one son, William, Halifax; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Phyllis Daniels, Gratz; 10 grandchildren; three greatgrandchildren.
Services will be held Saturday morning from Simeon's United Lutheran Church, Gratz, with the Rev Robert Logan officiating. Interment will be in the Gratz Union Cemetery. There will be no viewing. The Reed Funeral Home, Pillow, is in charge.
