LEWIS A. ERDMAN
Lewis A. Erdman, 70, of Pillow, died in Sunbury Hospital, where he had been a patient for few days. He had been ill for a year.
Born in Klingerstown R. D. he was a son of the late Gideon and Elizabeth Williams Erdman. He was a retired blacksmith.
Surviving besides his wife, the former Mabel Klinger, he leaves six sons and one daughter: Arthur, Berwick; Whalen, Lykens; Homer, Dornsife; Kenneth, Herndon, Lee, Pitman and Lewis Jr., Pillow; Mrs. Ray Wiest, Lykens R.D. 1; 23 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Phares, Klingerstown and Samuel, Urban.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon from the Rothermel Funeral Home, Klingerstown. Burial in Northumberland Memorial Park.
