Samuel Schoffstall is also referred to as Samuel Imschoffstall in some sources. He was born on 25 February 1810. He married Susannah Klinger.1 Samuel Schoffstall died on 9 February 1891, at age 80.2 He was buried at Simeon United Lutheran Church Cemetery, Gratz, Dauphin County, PA.3

Susannah Klinger is also referred to as Susanna Klinger in some sources. She was born on 27 January 1817.1,2 She was baptized on 14 April 1817, Zion (Klinger's) Church, Erdman, Lykens Township, Dauphin County, PA.1 She married Samuel Schoffstall.3 In 1850, Susanna and her husband Samuel Schoffstall were living in Lykens Township, Dauphin County, PA, where Samuel was a farmer. Their household included the following children: Susanna, 9; Elizabeth, 7; Catherine, 4; Ann Eliza, 3; and Amanda, 1.4 Susannah Klinger died on 1 March 1885, at age 68.5 She was buried on 4 March 1885, at Simeon United Lutheran Church Cemetery, Gratz, Dauphin County, PA.6,7
