  BULLET FATAL TO HEGINS MAN
  A self inflicted gun shot wound which tore away part of his face proved fatal to Nathan Klouser, 54. Hegins. R. D., who died at the Pottsville Hospital a few minutes before 4 o'clock Monday afternoon a little more than two hours after he had been admitted.
  E. W. Gundel, of the Pihegrove State Police, investigated the shooting which he said took place in a front room of the Klouser home in the rear of Valley View. Klouser is said to have been under treatment for a nervous condition for a year or more and a few weeks ago is said to have intimated to his wife that he would take his life.
  After discharging, the shotgun he remained conscious and remained that way until just a few minutes before he died. He was brought to Pottsville by ambulance with his brother Elden Klouser accompanying him. He had been unable to work for over a year, but prior to that was engaged in mining. Deputy Coroner Dr. Gable, of Hegins, investigated the shooting and released the body to Funeral Director Buffington.
  Klouser is survived by his wife and a son, Clarence. The following brothers and sisters also survive: Elvin and Arthur, Hegins; George, Irvin, Gurney, Mrs. Claudia Miller, all of Hegins; Mrs. Eva Hubler, Valley View and Mrs. Wm. Miller, of Fearnot.
  His funeral will be private on Thursday afternoon with Rev. Hoag of he Evangelical Church officiating. Interment in St. John's Cemetery. Buffington is the funeral director.
