George and Priscilla Motter had a son of the same age named "Cloyd W. Motter," born 3 Feb 1888. Baptismal records at Simeon Reformed Church in Gratz, PA, list Iva's baptism and show her father's name as "Lloyd Matter."^7,6,5

  Mrs. Iva I. Buffington ELIZABETHVILLE - Mrs. Iva I. Buffington, 78, of 29 N. Market St., died Monday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Eleanor Apa of Camp Hill.
  She was the widow of Paul M. Buffington. She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church; Elizabethville Area Senior Citizens; and was a retired employee of the Nedrich Sewing Factory.
  Surviving also are another daughter, Mrs. Jean Hain of Camp Hill; a sister, Mrs. Ruth Lewis of Bainbridge; two granddaughters, and two great-grandchildren.
  Services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home at 103 W. Main St. The Rev. Steven Dorsett will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery.

  PUNTA GORDA, FL - Anthony D. Buffington, 23, of Lafayette Street, formerly of Elizabethville, passed away November 16th, 2013, the result of an auto accident in Charlotte County, Punta Gorda.
  He was born October 6, 1990 in Harrisburg, son of Ronald E. "Buff" Buffington, Jr. and the late Samantha (Zerance) Buffington.
  He had attended the Northern Dauphin Christian Academy and was a graduate of the Upper Dauphin Class of 2010.
  He was a former member of David's Church, Millersburg.
  He had worked for Dunkin Donuts in Punta Gorda and formerly worked at Koppy's on the Square and Walmart both in Elizabethville. He also had worked for Dayton Parts in Harrisburg.
  Survivors include his father, Ronald E. "Buff" Buffington Jr. and his fiance Dona Reitenbach. His Wife, Camaria P.   There will be a visitation at Salem Lutheran Church, Elizabethville on Monday, November 25, 2013 from 10-11 am with services at 11. The Rev. Nathan Corl Minnich and Rev. Gary Becker will officiate. Burial to follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Elizabethville.

  B. Frank Buffington, 79, died Sunday night at his home, North Market street, Elizabethville. He was a lifelong resident of the borough, a member of the P. O. S. of A., and Salem Lutheran Church, Elizabethville.
  Surviving are three daughters, Gertie Wagner, Philadelphia; Mrs. Clara Davis, Washington, and Miss Emma Buffington, at home; seven sons, Lawrence Buftington, Allentown; Wilmer, Joseph, Herbert, Ralph, Galen and Paul, all at home; two sisters, Mrs. Charles Potter, Mifflintown, and Katie Buffington, Elizabethville; thirtythree grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren.
  Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the home with the Rev. W. Z. Artz, of Salem Church, officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the home after 7 o'clock tomorrow night.
