Sinary R. Kessler, 66, of the vicinity of Erdman, died at his home Tuesday afternoon, the result of a chronic respiratory illness of many years.
He was a son the late Henry and Mary Erdman Kessler, and was born in Lykens Township, Dauphin County, December 13, 1896. He was a member of Klinger's Lutheran Church at Erdman.
Surviving are his wife, Lola Zerbe Kessler, and children as follows: Mrs. Ray Deppen, Klingerstown; Mark Kessler, Bedford; Mrs. Roy Coleman, Hegins; Earl Kessler, Dornsife, RD; Leon, at home, and Mrs. Walter Troutman, Gratz. Twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren also survive as well as one sister and four brothers: Mrs. Ella Umholtz, Oscar Kessler and Luther Kessler, all of Lykens RD; Moses a Kessler, Sacramento, and Ezra Kessler, Harrisburg.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday from Klinger's Church. His pastor, Rev. J. Wilson Harner, will officiate. Burial will be made in the adjoining church cemetery.
Friends may call at Klinger's Lutheran Church Friday from 7 to 9. p.m. Funeral arrangements| are in charge of the Marlin Reed funeral home, Pillow.
