WILLIAM RAYMOND REED
William Raymond Reed, 57, Spring Glen, died in Good Samaritan Hospital this city, on Tuesday, where he was admitted as a medical patient on Monday. He had been ill about two years.
Born in Lykens Township, Dauphin County, January 13, 1895, he was a son of the late John M. and Mrs. Ida Sheid Reed. He was a member of Coleman's Church, and a member of the board for a number of years. He was employed as an electrical foreman at the Williamstown Colliery and after that ceased operations he was employed in the same capacity at Indian Head Colliery.
Surviving are his wife, the former Irene Troxell, and these children: Ethan, and Mrs. Russell Hepler, Valley View; William R. Jr., Spring Glen; Robert and Barbara at home; four grandchildren; three brothers, Earl, Laureldale; John, Mohnton, and Allen, Temple.
Funeral services at the A. R. Buffington Funeral Home, Saturday afternoon, with further services in Coleman's Church. The Rev. Ralph J. Harrity, will be tbe officiating clergyman. Interment in Coleman's Cemetery.
