Funeral services for Roy L. Morgan, 64, of Valley View were held Monday afternoon from St. Andrew's Methodist Church, Valley View with the Rev. Gordon Oplinger, pastor of St. Andrew's; officiating. Interment was in the parish cemetery. Mr. Morgan who was a brother of Mrs. Florence Spicher of Tremont and Herman Morgan of Donaldson, died on Thursday, October 22, in Henry Landis Hospital, Philadelphia.
Born in Valley View, son of the late Daniel and Frances Boyer Morgan, he.: was a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church and the Valley View Fire Company.
Surviving in addition to local relatives are his widow, the former Lillie Schaeffer, three daughters; Beulah, wife of Richard Hoy, Millersburg; Marian, wife of Richard Motter, Berrysburg; Mrs. Alice Jordan, Valley View; four sons, Ernest and Clayton, Valley View; Chester, Hegins; Ronald, Halifax R.D; 29 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Ira Morgan, Mrs. Mabel Harner, Mrs. Bessie Scheib, Mrs. Harvey Kroh and Mrs. Clair Harman, all of Valley View; Homer Morgan and Mrs. Albert Bixler, Hegins; Mrs. Reba Hoffman, Klingerstown; Mrs. Harold Sallada, Lebanon.

Services for Lillie Alberta Morgan, 82, of 605 W. Main St., Valley View, who died Wednesday evening at her home, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Valley View. The Rev. Dr. Donald Fishel will officiate. Interment will be in St. Andrew's Cemetery, Valley View. Buffington Funeral Home, Valley View, is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Morgan was born in Valley View Nov. 14, 1899, a daughter of the late Richard and Agnes Harner Shaffer.
She was a factory worker, employed at Carl Gutman Company, V alley View, until retiring.
Mrs. Morgan was a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church and Tri-Valley Senior Citizens.
Her husband, Roy, died in 1970.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Alice Erdman, Valley View, Marion, wife of Richard Matter Sr., Berrys-burg, and Beulah, wife of Richard Hoy Sr., Millersburg; five sons, Ernest, Richard and Clayton, all of Valley View, Chester, Hegins, and Ronald, Halifax; 30 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren; a brother.
