Hutton Jr., son of John Oliver Hutton and Maggie Elizabeth Williamson, in August 1948.^1,4,5 Verna K. Semerod died on 29 June 2006, Amity Township, Berks County, PA, at age 78.²

Verna K. Semerod Hutton, 78, of Amity Township, Berks County, formerly of Mount Carmel, died at 8:54 a.m. Thursday in her residence of natural causes.
She was the wife of the John O. Hutton, who died Feb, 9, 2000.
Born in Hazleton, she was a daughter of the late Verna M.R. Dietz Semerod and the late William H. Semerod.
She was a beautician in Pottstown, retiring in 2000.
She was a member of St. Paul's UCC, Amityville; a member of Queen Bieb and 'er "Mary" Red Hatters-Chapter 10741; and Order of the Eastern Star, Mount Carmel.
Surviving are one son, David John Hutton, Noblesville, Ind; three daughters, Barbara J., wife of Charles Lewiski, Pott-stown, Becky R., wife of David Hurlock, Pottstown, and Tina M. Paul, at home; one brother, Jackie E. Semerod, Largo, Fla; two sisters, June Olson, West Linn, Ore. and Lillie Dietrich, Aurora, Colo; a brother and sister-in-law Gladys E. Hutton and Russell Fessler, Pottsville; 11 grandchildren; nine greatgrandchildren.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family Dengler Funeral Home, Inc., 144 N. Spruce St., Birdsboro, is in charge of the arrangements.

Hutton Jr. died on 8 February 2000, Health Park Care Center, Fort Meyers, Lee County, FL, at age 74.⁴

Born in Valley View, he was a son of the late John and Maggie Williamson Hutton.
He was a Navy veteran during World War II.
He retired from ACECO, Douglassville, in 1990.
Surviving are his wife of 51 years, the former Verna Semerod; a son, David, Greenwood, S.C; three daughters, Barbara Lewiski and Becky Hurlock, both of Pottstown, and Tina Paul, Douglassville; a sister, Gladys Fessler, Pottsville; 10 grandchildren; a great-granddaughter.
National Cremation Society, Fort Meyers, was in charge of arrangements.
