Alice Regina Klinger was born on 1 April 1903, Klingerstown, Schuylkill County, PA. She was the daughter of Alexander W. Klinger and Barbara Sedora Williard. Alice Regina Klinger was baptized on 26 April 1903 in St. Michael's Church, Klingerstown, Schuylkill County, PA. She married Roy Franklin Shade, son of Jacob S. Shade and Lizzie Ritzman, on 10 June 1922, Simeon Lutheran Church, Gratz, Dauphin County, PA.1 Alice Regina Klinger died on 29 February 1968, Lykens Township, Dauphin County, PA, at age 64.2

Mrs. Alice R. Shade, 64, of Lykens RD, died at her home Thursday.
She was a member of Simeon United Church of Christ, the Willing Workers of the church, the Lykens Twp. Grange and the Dauphin County Pomona Grange.
Her husband. Roy F. Shade, died two years ago. She survived by a son Allen A. Shade, Spring Glen, and a daughter, Mrs. Clarence Welter, Gratz; five grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Ray Hartman, Gratz.
Services will be held Tuesday afternoon at the Simeon Lutheran and United Church of Christ, Gratz, with her pastor, the Rev. James G. Reed, Elizabethville, officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery. Gratz.
