     Arthur E. Troutman was born on 31 May 1901, Washington Township, Northumberland County, PA.1,3,2 He married Lena M. Reed in 1924.3,4

DORNSIFE -- Arthur E. Troutman, 72, of Dornsife RD1 died at 1:40 a.m. today in Mountain View Manor, Trevorton Road.
Mr. Troutman had been seriously ill for the past four and one-half weeks and had . been a patient in Sunbury Community Hospital. He entered Mountain View Manor March 6.
Mr. Troutman was a retired farmer.
He married the former Lena Reed, who survives, in 1924, and celebrated his 50th wedding anniversary on Feb. 16.
Educated in Washington Township schools, he lived in the Dornsife RD area most of his life. He was a member of Himmel's United Church of Christ, Rebuck.
Born in Washington Twp., May 31, 1901, he was a son of the late John and Emma Goodman Troutman.
In addition to his widow, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Marlin Michael of Herndon RD, and Mrs. Donald Romberger of Millersburg; three sons, Deri, of Cleveland, O., Percy of Dornsife Star Route, and Earnest of Pillow; 13 grandchildren; one brother, James D. Troutman of Sunbury; two sisters, Mrs. Katie Campbell of Sunbury and Mrs. Tamie Smith of Dornsife; and one step-sister, Mrs. Melvin Boyer of Dornsife.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Himmel's United Church of Christ, Rebuck.
The Rev. Paul Billow will officiate. Burial will be in Himmel's Lutheran and United Church of Christ Cemetery, Rebuck.
Friends may call at the Robert Foust Funeral Home, Trevorton, Thursday evening, and at the church on Friday from noon until the time of the service.

     Lena M. Reed was born on 28 August 1905, Little Mahanoy Township, Northumberland County, PA.1,3 She married Arthur E. Troutman in 1924.1,4 Lena M. Reed died on 6 July 1999, Susquehanna Lutheran Village, Millersburg, Dauphin County, PA, at age 93.4,3 She was buried at Himmel Church Cemetery, Rebuck, Northumberland County, PA.4

Lena M. Troutman, 93, RR1 Dornsife
DORNSIFE - Lena M. Troutman, 93, a lifelong resident of RR1 Dornsife, died at 3:20 a.m. Tuesday, July 6, 1999, at Susquehanna Lutheran Village, Millersburg, where she had been a guest for two years.
She was born Aug. 28, 1905, in Little Mahanoy Township, a daughter of the late Samuel S. and Catherine (Kobel) Reed. She was married in February 1924 in Otto Station to Arthur E. Troutman, who died March 12, 1974.
She attended the Raker School in Little Mahanoy Township.
Mrs. Troutman was employed in the farming industry and later retired from the Muskin Shoe Factory, Millersburg.
She enjoyed quilting, crocheting and gardening. She was a member of the Herndon Senior Action Center.
Mrs. Troutman was a member of Himmel's Lutheran Church, Rebuck, and Himmel's Women of the Church.
Surviving are three sons and daughters-in-law, Derl and Jeannie of Cambridge, Ohio, Percy and Pauline of RR Dornsife and Earnest and Nancy of Pillow; two daughters, Elizabeth "Betty" Michael of RR Herndon and Thelma Romberger of Millersburg; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; eight stepgrandchildren; 17 great-stepgrandchildren; two great-great-stepgrandchildren; and one sister-inlaw, Anna Boyer of RR Dornsife.
She was preceded in death by one granddaughter; four brothers, Francis, Charles, Dan and Adam Reed; and four sisters, Cora Shaffer, Katie Schieb, Emma Kerstetter and Sally Wynn.
Visitors may call from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at Himmel's Lutheran Church, Rebuck. The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at the church by the Rev. Frederick H. Faust.
Burial will be in Himmel's Church Cemetery, Rebuck.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Himmel's Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, Rebuck, Pa. 17867.
Funeral arrangements were by Robert G. Foust Jr. Funeral Home, 841 W. Shamokin St., Trevorton.
