Norwood E. Erdman, 85, of Dalmatia, passed away on September 15, 2019, at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. He was born in Klingerstown on November 20, 1933, a son of the late Mae and Whalen "Jake" Erdman.
Norwood was employed as carpenter and mason for many years. He served in the PA National Guard.He was a member of the American Legion, Dalmatia Kiwanis Club, Hickory Corners Fire Company.
Norwood is survived by his two sons, Gregg Erdman, and Tom Erdman; daughter, Peggy Sultzenbuger; step-daughter, Dawn Schaffner; step-son, David Hollenbach; four grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and a sister, Linda Leitzel. He was preceded in death by two wives Carol and Nancy Erdman, one grandchild, brother, Arlo "Dutch" Erdman, and sister, Judy Reedinger.
Visitation with family will be held on September 20, 2019 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at James A. Reed Funeral Home, Pillow. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 20, 2019, at 11:00 am at the James A. Reed Funeral Home, Pillow. Interment will take place in the Riverview Memorial Park, Halifax.2
