Barbara S Huntsinger, age 62, of Valley View, passed away Friday, May 27, 2022 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville after a brief illness.
She was born on Tuesday, July 7, 1959, in Pottsville, a daughter the late of Boyd Wedde and the late Beverly (Starr) Wedde.
She was a 1977 graduate of Tri-Valley High School.
Barbara was an administrator for the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency.
She attended St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Valley View.
She is survived by her husband Darrell E Huntsinger, to whom she was married for 44 years.
She is also survived by a son, Kirby C Huntsinger and his wife Heather of Bellefonte; a daughter, Kari L King and her husband Kevin of New Cumberland; four grandchildren, Julia Huntsinger, Brennan Huntsinger, Carson King, and Caroline King; a brother, Randy Wedde of Camp Hill; a sister, Peggy Snyder and her husband Russell of Elizabethville; two step sisters, Rose Huntzinger of Lititz and Molly Masser of Mechanicsburg; her mother in law Lucille Huntsinger of Loyalton; a brother in law, Eric Huntsinger of Valley View; three aunts, Christine Gessner and her husband Jim of Leck Kill; Margaret Mitchell and her husband Edward of Ashland, and Annetta Troup and her husband Wayne of Ashland; a niece, Hilary Snyder of Germantown, MD; and several cousins.
As per Barbara's wishes there will be no services.
